Sunview Shines at Nation Health Summit
Sunview Medipro was among the key participants at the recently concluded two-day Health Summit organized by Nation Media Group at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. The summit, themed “Positioning East Africa as a Centre for Excellence,” brought together hundreds of healthcare leaders, policymakers, investors, innovators and industry stakeholders from across the region to discuss the future of healthcare.

The company recreated part of a modern operating theatre, giving attendees a firsthand experience of the advanced medical technologies being deployed in healthcare facilities across the country.
The booth drew significant attention throughout the two days, with the sounds of monitoring equipment attracting curious visitors eager to learn more about modern theatre systems and patient monitoring technologies. Hundreds of attendees visited the stand, with many taking the opportunity to test the equipment and have their blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels checked.
Sunview’s participation extended beyond the exhibition floor. The company’s Chief of Strategy & Operations, Joe Maina, was invited to join a high-level panel discussion on “AI in Healthcare: Opportunities & Challenges.” During the session, he shared insights on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in improving healthcare delivery, enhancing efficiency and expanding access to quality medical services across the region.
The summit also provided a valuable platform for engagement and networking.
