The equipment was delivered through the National Equipment Service Program (NESP), a government initiative aimed at enhancing diagnostic capabilities and improving healthcare delivery across county hospitals.

This investment marks a significant step toward strengthening Kenya’s progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by providing equitable access to advanced, life-saving diagnostic services

The Cabinet Secretary was accompanied by Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o, Health DG Patrick Amoth, other senior officials from the Ministry of Health, and Sunview Medipro International CEO Sirat Amin.

Sunview Medipro is among the key partners selected under the NESP program to supply high-quality diagnostic equipment to public health facilities nationwide.

The newly commissioned machines are expected to enhance patient care at JOOTRH, reduce the need for referrals outside the region, and support healthcare workers with better tools to deliver timely and accurate diagnoses.
